From December 7 to 8, the research group undertaking the ministry-level special project, Comparative Study of Urban Cultural Elements and Types in an International Perspective, visited Chengdu to conduct discussions on topics related to Updating Lifestyles in the Context of Urban Civilization.

The group visited Sichuan WoFei ChangKong Technology Development Co., Ltd., AG Esports Club, Jinsha Site Museum, HuaMei Technology Group Co., Ltd., and the 2024 PUBG Mobile Global Championship. Additionally, a seminar was held at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), where members discussed topics such as strategies for promoting urban image, the composition of urban cultural elements, and shaping the spirit of urban inclusiveness with industry experts.

The investigation began with Sichuan WoFei ChangKong Technology Development Co., Ltd., where representatives introduced the concept and future prospects of the low-altitude economy. Company executives demonstrated the impact of the low-altitude economy on urban infrastructure networks, offering insights into urban culture from the perspective of updated modes of citizen transportation.

Next, the team deeply experienced the integration of Chengdu's historical culture and modern lifestyle. From the youth appeal of AG Esports, they explored the city's new interactions in everyday life. At the Jinsha Site Museum, the team appreciated the new expressions of urban culture through historical storytelling. HuaMei Technology Group's international operations provided insight into the new strategies of urban branding. Meanwhile, the intense competition at the 2024 PUBG Mobile Global Championship highlighted the new vitality of urban culture. Throughout the investigation, the team gained a deeper understanding of Chengdu's lifestyle, urban identity, industries, and historical heritage.

The seminar was held on December 8 at the Qingshuihe Campus of UESTC. Leaders and experts from Zhejiang University, UESTC, Sichuan University, Sichuan Academy of Social Sciences, and the Sichuan International Communication Center attended the seminar. Discussions focused on Chengdu's developmental experience under the topic, Updating Lifestyles in the Context of Urban Civilization.
