The 16th National College Student Advertising Art Competition (NCAC) successfully concluded recently, with our students earning one first prize, two second prizes, and one third prize. Zhang Yan, head of the Department of Strategic Communication, was also recognized as an Outstanding Instructor.

This year’s competition attracted over 770,000 entries from 1,873 universities across 29 regions in China. First launched in 2005, NCAC has grown over two decades to become one of the largest and most prestigious academic contests for college students in the country. It is highly regarded for its mission to “promote educational reform, inspire creativity, enhance skills, improve quality, and nurture moral values.” With its extensive reach, wide participation, high-quality submissions, and strong influence, the competition has set a benchmark in academic excellence and innovation.

The recognition has brought immense pride and joy to our college’s teachers and students. They see these awards as a reward for their hard work and a motivation to push forward. Moving ahead, the college plans to continue its commitment to fostering creativity and practical skills, refining its curriculum and teaching methods to train more innovative and capable talents for the advertising industry. Through these efforts, the college aims to contribute further to the growth and innovation of the advertising sector.
