On November 16, the inaugural session of the Sub-Party School Training Program at the College of Media and International Culture, Zhejiang University, was successfully held in the college’s Converged Media Studio. The program aims to deepen the Party spirit cultivation of faculty and student Party members, harness the power of ideas, broaden perspectives, and inject new vitality into the college's Party-building initiatives. The event featured keynote lectures by Wang Qingwen, Secretary of the College Party Committee, and Fang Xingdong, Executive Dean of the College, with Ye Jianying, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, presiding over the session.



Wang Qingwen delivered a lecture titled Thoroughly Studying and Implementing the Spirit of the 20th CPC Central Committee’s Third Plenary Session. Drawing from the latest Party policies and development strategies, he highlighted the importance of reform in the new era. Using vivid examples and clear explanations, he encouraged faculty and student Party members to actively participate in the wave of reforms with a more positive attitude.



Fang Xingdong presented a report titled Communication Patterns and Public Opinion Ecosystems in the Age of Intelligence. Building on the strategic direction emphasized by the Third Plenary Session, he offered an in-depth analysis of the essence of the internet and technological innovation, providing new perspectives for understanding and navigating the complexities of global integration in an interconnected world.



In her closing remarks, Ye Jianying expressed heartfelt wishes, encouraging student Party members to engage with greater enthusiasm and steadfast commitment in the grand journey of Chinese modernization. She urged them to contribute their strength to realizing the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation.



The successful launch of this training program not only infused fresh energy into the college’s Party-building efforts but also provided a valuable platform for learning and exchange among faculty and student Party members.
