In the afternoon of August 28th, China Film and Television Blue Book 2023 and China TV Drama Blue Book 2023, co-edited by Prof. Fan Zhizhong of School of Media and International Culture, Zhejiang University and Prof. Chen Xuguang of School of Arts, Peking University, and published by China International Broadcasting Press, held their first launching ceremonies at the University of Athens, Greece. Professor Stelios Virvidakis, Chairman of the Greek Council of the Center for Mutual Appreciation of Chinese and Greek Civilizations at the University of Athens, and Mr. Yang Shaobo, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of China-Greece Times, attended the launching ceremony.

As one of the editors-in-chief, Prof. Fan Zhizhong introduced how the Blue Book was written at the launching ceremony. The Blue Book launched the Annual Influential TV Drama Ranking through three counts of public online evaluation, Peking University and Zhejiang University students' comments and 50 experts' votes, aiming to quantify the mainstream influence, with certain originality, for the new era of word-of-mouth. It has some originality and practical significance for the construction of the evaluation system in the new era of word-of-mouth. On this basis, the China Film and Television Blue Book Think Tank platform is constructed, and through various activities themed on the Blue Book, it promotes the dialog between the film and television academia and the industry, strengthens the guiding significance of the commentaries, and pioneeringly enriches the evaluation system of the new era of word-of-mouth for film and television dramas.

With the keywords of influence, creativity and sustainable development, the two sets of Blue Books China Film and Television Blue Book 2023 and China TV Drama Blue Book 2023 have analyzed the ten most influential films of the year. The two sets of Blue Books use the keywords of influence, creativity and sustainable development to conduct case-based in-depth analysis and comprehensive summarization of the ten most influential movies and ten TV dramas of the year, providing an important case blueprint for the sustainable and benign development of China's film and TV industry. Since its launch, the series has insisted on analyzing and discussing the important annual works and creative phenomena of Chinese films and TV dramas, and has been premiered at international film festivals and international academic platforms for many times, which is not only useful for showing the latest developments in Chinese film and TV, but also of great significance for promoting cultural exchanges and mutual understanding.

General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out in his reply to Prof. Velvidarsky and other Greek scholars that Chinese civilization has a long history and ancient Greek civilization has far-reaching influence, and that more than 2,000 years ago, the two civilizations of China and Greece met at the ends of the Asian and European continents, and made significant and foundational contributions to the evolution of human civilization. It is of great historical and contemporary significance for the two countries to establish the China-Greece Center for Mutual Understanding of Civilizations, which is dedicated to promoting exchanges and mutual understanding between the two civilizations and the development of civilizations of all countries.

Film and television are bridges of cultural communication and have wide influence. The premiere of China Film and Television Blue Book 2023 was held at the China-Greece Center for Mutual Enlightenment of Civilizations of the University of Athens, which further promotes cultural exchanges and mutual understanding of civilizations between China and Greece, and promotes the progress of human civilization.
